The development of the new CSM loudspeakers for Mercedes-Benz vehicles clearly focused a significant improvement of sound and a power capacity compared to the original systems. Super-light fiberglass membranes and efficient neodymium magnet drives ensure CSM models’ high-performance sound even when driven with moderate amplifier power. The 20 cm bass speakers generate a sound pressure of 89 dB / W / m thanks to their efficient 38 mm CCAW voice coil.
