The QUANTUM QXF201P is the passive version of the well-known QXF201A active system – suitable for Duacto, Boxer and Jumper, but without the integrated amplifier. The passive version is useful if you plan to install a separate multi-channel amplifier for the system, which will meet the need for more performance and bass even better.

Digital DSP amplifiers are often installed in mobile homes, which have 5 or 6 channels, one of which is intended for a subwoofer. This is then simply used for the QXF201P. Amplifiers with a Quick Connect connection, such as the ESX DSP power amplifier SE800.6DSP, are also perfect for this purpose. The connection cable supplied is simply plugged into the output socket for channel 5/6 – done.

If you want even more bass performance, you can configure your system so that you plan to have two subwoofers at once. For this purpose, the QXF201P console subwoofer has a special Quick Connect output to which the second subwoofer can be connected quickly and easily. Preferably, an ESX subwoofer with a Quick Connect connection should be chosen, as everything has already been preconfigured for this. The pro tip: If there is space under the driver or passenger seat, the Q201P can be mounted there. It is identical to the QXF201P, but without the steel frame. The connection is extremely simple: plug it into the QXF201P and you’re done. Now bass lovers who like to hear and feel music with depth in their motorhome will get their money’s worth.
